Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about our company, Danmarque Garages was established several years ago as a local family-run company providing garage refurbishment services in and around the lancashire area. Over the years and with the valued support of our customers we have grown our company into not just a national provider, but one of the leading companies in our industries field.
Despite our rapid growth we have always endeavoured to maintain the same ethos we had at the very beginning, the same ethos which got us where we are today. As ambassadors for our customers we offer an approachable, friendly service based on trust and not contracts.
We have all experienced at some point or another “The Expert”, whether its purchasing an item or a service, or trying to get technical support for something which it outside your own knowledge base the expert, intentional or otherwise will baffle you with jargon which only a fellow expert could possibly understand. As an alternative we offer simplicity, simplicity in language, in approach and in delivery. From the first point of contact to the day of completion we will ensure that you understand our processes and your project fully, in a language you can understand.
Being a family run business, our company has always had the advantage of trust in the workplace, so trust in our customers was a just a natural extension of our environment although we didn’t realise what a huge part of our company it was until we started making the transition to a national provider and we began looking at how other companies did business.
We provide services as openly as possible, there are no salesman, no contracts, no deposits and no hidden costs. We operate as a national company just as we did as a local family business, where our customers trust us to deliver on our service and we trust them to pay for that service. In the years of trading and the hundreds and hundreds of customers we have had the pleasure of providing a service for, we have never had that trust broken!
One of the hardest things to find these days is accountability, there is always some loophole or piece of paper somewhere which says it’s somebody else’s fault and as the customer your always the one left with no where to turn and no one to help.
For us, accountability is the culmination of simplicity and trust. Simplicity in that when you approach us to provide a service, it’s us you get, we will never sell your project on or hire a third-party company to do the work on our behalf. For this reason, because we don’t use third party companies, we are accountable for all of our projects but being accountable is not enough! Customers must trust that if there is a problem, no matter what it is, they have someone who they can rely on to put it right.
Although we consistently push to be the best at what we do we are no different than any company in that despite all the planning and preparation we put into a project, sometimes things don’t always go to plan. Where we stand apart is we will always take ownership of our mistakes and rectify them as soon as possible and at our own cost.
There’s an old saying “to know where you are going, you must know where you have been”.
As you may have already realised, we are very proud of our heritage as a company. Starting with a few family members and very little resources our journey into a leading national provider wasn’t easy, the financial crisis and competitive market forced us to focus on our strengths and what we had to offer and in doing so we discovered respect, respect for one another, for our customers and even for our competition.
Respect is the fourth and final value which makes up our ethos and arguably it’s the most important. Without respect, both given and received, we would not be the company we are today.
